Claudia has 12 years of diverse clinical experience working with clients of various ages and cultural backgrounds. Claudia has provided individual, family and group psychotherapy in a wide range of settings including rehab facilities, community centers, homes, hospital and outpatient settings. Claudia’s skill set includes crisis Intervention, anger management, mood and anxiety issues, substance use and other compulsive behaviors, trauma-related concerns and personality disorders.

Education & Credentials

Claudia is a fully licensed clinician and Chicago native who obtained a B.A. from North Park University and a Master’s Degree focused in Counseling Psychology from Roosevelt University. Claudia has also received certification in both partner violence and adult sexual assault/trauma counseling.

Claudia personal values are centered around general health & wellness, humor & self-awareness. Claudia encourages personal growth by helping clients self-reflect, expand their perspective and utilize individual strengths & resources. Claudia also facilitates clients to change the ways they relate, think and talk about their issues.

In therapy, Claudia employs different approaches personalized to meet client needs. Client’s goals are met by utilizing a variety of CBT, DBT and ACT therapeutic strategies. Claudia also incorporates an integrative approach and emphasizes daily movement, balanced nutrition & adequate sleep in the treatment planning process.
