Chelsea Gaghan

Hi! My name is Chelsea. I received my Bachelors’ and Masters’ in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and have been working as a speech and language pathologist at The Therapy Tree, LLC and Early Intervention Program since 2018. I was initially introduced to speech therapy as a kid when my younger siblings received in-home services, and decided then and there that this would be my career. Working with children is something I have always enjoyed and have always been passionate about, so this was just a natural fit for me.

I have experience working in various areas including schools, Early Intervention, and private practice. In individual and group settings, I work with all speech and language deficits and disorders for any children 0-18 years old including but not limited to: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, apraxia, AAC/communication devices, nonverbal children, and social skills. I also have experience working with a variety of syndromes and disorders such as Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD/ADD, TBI, and so on.

I truly believe that in order for a child to make the most success it is necessary to collaborate with families and colleagues to provide the most effective treatment. It is just as important that children work on their skills at home and at school in order to master their speech and language abilities.

In my free time I love watching all sports and attending games, concerts, all things Disney, weightlifting, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
