Lauren Thompson

Hi, I’m Lauren Thompson, MS CF-SLP. I’m a Speech Language Pathologist with a passion for helping children become confident and successful communicators. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Illinois State University and my master’s degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. I’ve provided services in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, early intervention, and autism clinics. I’m also a credentialed provider with Illinois Early Intervention.

I love using creative, play-based, and neuro-affirming approaches to support speech and language development. I believe in working closely with families to help every child grow in a way that feels fun, functional, and supportive.

Outside of work, you can find me out for a run, crafting, or volunteering in my community. Fun fact: during college, I worked as an ESL adult tutor and loved helping others grow their communication skills.
