Occupational Therapist
Hello! I am a pediatric occupational therapist with primarily 2.5 years of experience in early intervention (ages birth to three). I have also worked in pediatric clinics as a therapeutic aide and completed a 12-week fieldwork rotation in an elementary school setting via telehealth and in-person. My post-professional doctorate was focused on how pediatric occupational therapists can support mothers who are parenting or pregnant after perinatal loss. Thus, I use my background in perinatal mental health to support the mother as well as the child. I have also supported children with diagnoses of Autism, genetic conditions and chromosomal mutations, and global developmental delays. I enjoy providing support for children to help with sensory processing differences and sleep hygiene. I deliver therapy services in a trauma informed, culturally relevant manner while emphasizing a strengths-based and neurodivergent affirming approach. I grew up in Round Lake, IL, and now live in Mundelein with my corgi, Chester.
