Janet Ognibene

My name is Janet Ognibene.  I have been an SLP for many years now.  I have Bachelor of Science in Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  I have my Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University.

I work full time at the Special Education District of Lake County.  I have worked primarily in special education in our classrooms that specialize in Autism.  I have also worked in our cross categorical classes.  I have serviced anywhere from kindergarten through transition (18-22).  I have worked in clinical settings in the evenings for many years.  I have worked in skilled nursing and Early Intervention as well.

I live in Volo with my husband and daughter, Lea.  We enjoy going to various places: beaches, fests, music, crafting, and shopping.  Lea and I love to cook and bake whenever time allows.  I also love to read and do crafts in my spare time (whatever that is). I am also beginning to dabble in home renovations!
