Hi! I’m Ashley. I graduated with a Master’s degree from Marquette University in 2018. From a young age, I knew I wanted to work with children, a passion that began when I started babysitting at the age of 11. My primary experience is with school-aged children, but my professional journey has included working with a diverse range of ages and demographics. My knowledge in the field of speech pathology includes expertise in language development, articulation disorders, fluency disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience working in both school settings and private practice. I have successfully supported children and adults with various conditions and syndromes, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, ADHD/ADD, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. I believe in the importance of collaboration between families, schools, and outside therapists, ensuring that each child receives comprehensive and cohesive care.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs, Mac and Rome. I love being outdoors and doing activities such as hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking, and traveling to new places.
