Beginning Feldenkrais:
Weekly Awareness Through Movement®

with Laura Sebastian, GCFP

Classes meet on Tuesday from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. (Please see our Wellness Center schedule for a list of all current class times.)

This is a session designed to introduce you to the topic and practice of Feldenkrais. No prior experience is required; however, those with prior experience are also welcome. You are invited to join the class on any date, subject to the terms below.

The session will be held in Lake Villa at The Therapy Tree in the Wellness Center's Great Room.

Wear warm, comfortable clothing including socks. Mats and towels will be provided.

Classes are grouped into segments. Registering for an entire segment is preferred but not necessary. Current segments include:

June 14 through July 5

July 12 through August 2

August 9 through August 30

You may also sign up for individual weeks.

For registered rates, payment is required in advance and must be received in advance of the first class.

Un-prepaid "drop in" participants are also welcome; the drop in fee includes a slight surcharge. Payment is due before class begins.

Cost: $60.00 for 4 weeks — Pre-payment is required — Drop in fee: $18.00

Feldenkrais for the Equestrian

Movement lessons designed to open the door to better communication with our horses.

A three part series on falling.

The lessons will be held in Lake Villa at The Therapy Tree in the Wellness Center's Great Room.

Each lesson will run from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

Sunday, June 19: Two gentle lessons for recovery after a fall

Particularly good for those who have had broken ribs, collar bones and arms

Sunday, July 17: Two lessons which explore the concepts of Irreversible movement (falling) and Reversible movement

Sunday, August 14: Two lessons which encourage a more graceful emergency dismount

Cost: $45.00 per session

OR

$100.00 for one session that includes a private hands lesson

(value of $135.00 — private sessions are 50 minutes long)
