Biography

I currently work with children, teens, adults and families with an array of challenges including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, defiance, attention issues, poor socialization skills, trauma, and difficulty with emotional regulation.

It is my personal belief that we are all on a life long journey toward healing. It is human nature to continually strive to become a better version of ourselves and therapy can be an important part of that journey. The connection between physical and emotional health is undeniable and it is this belief that attracted me to The Therapy Tree where I have to opportunity to collaborate with multiple disciplines to help clients achieve more holistic wellness.

Since I began in the social work field in 2007 I have had the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of capacities including, clinical therapy, in-home support services, child welfare reunification, child partial hospitalization, adult cardiac rehabilitation and school social work. This has provided me with a unique understanding of the many different environments that people are asked to thrive in on a daily basis. It is never too early or too late to grow, heal, and change. I truly believe that everyone has the power within them to defeat barriers, break negative patterns and live the life they want to live!
