Local Organization Alliances
Community Outreach and Education (C.O.R.E.) Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that was established on July 8, 2008 by a group of pediatric therapists. We are fortunate that C.O.R.E supports members of The Therapy Tree family with support groups.
The foundation focuses on the very real need for educational, developmental, and therapeutic programs to be available to all children, caregivers, and families. Too often, critically needed services are denied to children and families due to bureaucratic guidelines and restrictions, lack of health insurance benefits or denials of coverage, and the soaring cost of health care.
C.O.R.E. is working to offer a variety of programs that reaches out to children, caregivers, and parents in community-based settings. CORE provides monthly parent support meetings, educational seminars, support services and therapy scholarships for families of children with special needs. Currently, they are actively seeking funding through grants and private donations.
To learn more about C.O.R.E., check back often as the organization is currently creating a new website dedicated specifically to their mission and fundraising.
We are excited to sponsor Busy Brains Children’s Museum, a not-for-profit organization. Busy Brains is projected to open it’s doors

In July 2015, we were proud to be a Bronze Corporate Sponsor for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life- Lakes Area.
